Notice from Orkie
This has pretty much been abandoned so I'm going to try and keep a steady flow of applications being displayed each week. As before, add any applications you'd particularly like to see featured to the list above and each week I'll draw up a shortlist for voting from. I'm going to try and address the imbalance in the type of application features too, so one week will be featuring a game, the next an emulator and the next a utility all going well. So far there have been 8 games, 4 emulators and 2 utilities featured, which doesn't accurately represent what the GP2X is capable of. Any comments should be contained to the dedicated section at the end of this page.

Perhaps the person who changes featured apps could also post a news item on GP32X.xom announcing the change. It could be like the "GP2X App of the Week" or something, rekindling interest in perhaps forgotten programs, and getting more of the community aware of this. -Alex
- That would be me :D. Yes, it's a good idea. Orkie 08:24, 19 June 2007 (PDT)
- Actually i had the very same idea. I thought of creating a poll thread in the board and trying to sync its votes with those of the wiki -- StarG 17:11, 19 June 2007 (PDT)
So, is there still any motivation for bringing this into GP32x.com spotlight? Alex 08:37, 13 August 2008 (PDT)
- I'm still interested, but I don't really have the time to deal with it right now. If you want to post something, feel free to go ahead! Orkie 13:56, 13 August 2008 (PDT)
- May I then post a news on GP32x about gpSP being this week's selected app, and attach a poll for next week's (25th-31st) games? Regarding that, which games should go in the poll - the three up for voting here, or the entire list of nominees? Alex 09:16, 16 August 2008 (PDT)
- Sure, post the 3 listed for voting here. Orkie 10:05, 16 August 2008 (PDT)

Well now we're moving over to apps. The problem is that Gmu, MP2X, and OldPlay are related being media players, while Qtopia and Termula2x have distinct uses. Do we do a 'media playback' poll with the first three only? Alex 09:39, 25 August 2008 (PDT)
- Nope, I normally just pick 3 for the vote. Try to get ones which haven't been voted on before. I've given your account the ability to edit the featured application stuff. Orkie 04:19, 29 August 2008 (PDT)
