Category talk:Emulators

From wiki.gp2x.org

Would it be a good idea to sort this page by system emulated, as some consoles have multiple emulators / ports.

for systems that emulate multiple consoles, they would be listed under each (or a few of the most popular). Eg. MAME could be listed under NeoGeo, and under its own MAME section.

Keep the A. B. C. etc, but add, for example:

N.

NeoGeo
MAME_GP2X
NeoCDGP2X
NeoPOP-GP2x
NES
Nes2x
Phamicom

Paragon, I would totally agree, however at the time, there do not seem to be too many emulators of the same console. A good reference is the left sidebar here. Scrolling down the page to Emulators for GP2X, it shows multiples for the following: Lynx, C64, GB Color, MAME, NES, and SNES. At this point, I just do not think it seems nessesary. --Yono
The bad news is that the list is automatically generated. I don't think it is possible to change it. What can be done is either a first list manually maintained. This list can alss go to another page.--mongolito404 04:45, 21 January 2006 (PST)

Emulator compatibility

Can someone remove all these "Emulator Compatibility - ..." entries, please. They ruin the entire section. ... and also these red disclaimers telling people will be banned if they add information! (In other wikis members are encouraged to add information!) Most games were tested by only one emulator, so the old color coded compact compatibility lists are much better.--Guest 11 December 2007

You'd rather I ban people without warning? ;) Simple answer, no. Feel free to find me on IRC on EFnet (#gp2x or #gp2xdev) if you wish to debate it. Orkie 12:39, 17 December 2007 (PST)
