CX25874

The Conexant CX25874 is the video output encoder used in the GP2X.
It supports a number of very interesting functions at the chip level (VGA, Mutisync RGB and all the usual video standards to name a few).
It is unclear yet how much of this functionality GamePark Holdings have exposed onto the GP2X's main board or EXT Port connector.
