Hi, I'm Jamie.

I bought a GP2x in early 2007, but have been playing with emulators and crappy old games for YEARS. In fact, after about the mid-1990s, I pretty much lost interest in almost all new games. My favorite PC games include Doom, Nethack, Pokemon, OMF 2097, Mechwarrior, and Exile. My favorite console games are Desert Strike (Megadrive), Killer Instinct (SNES), Goldeneye (N64), as well as the Tekken series, Dynasty Warriors, and the Katamari games (all on PS2).

I have also been playing with Linux for a fair while. My distro of choice for desktop is Ubuntu, but I can find my way around and setup most flavours of Linux. Now that Windows Vista has come out and totally sucks, I've decided to learn alot more about Linux, and intend on using it as my desktop environment in the future.

I'm here to help improve and refine the content on the Wiki, and hopefully help more people to realise how awesome this little machine is, and buy one of their own. I've worked with wikis before, and have been doing minor editing for a while on Wikipedia, have made a couple of articles on Encyclopedia Dramatica, and have been in charge of a few workplace-specific wikis in places of work.

I'm a 20-something yearold guy from Australia.

My other interests include heavy metal music (Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory, Children of Bodom, Arch Enemy), photography (devArt here) and cooking (mmm, pasta).

I do IT support and administration for work (Citrix, Lotus Notes, Active Directory, Cisco, BlackBerry, desktop support, etc etc)
