Legacy is an emulator designed to recreate the nostalgic experience of playing retro "bootable" games - early 1980's PC games which were truly "plug-n-play" in that inserting the floppy disk and rebooting the computer would start the game automatically. Nothing on the C64 or Spectrum comes close to that delightful combination of black, white, cyan and magenta.

Key bindings are fixed as above in this version but will be dynamically configurable in future versions.

Status

• No sound
• Inaccurate running speed
• Graphical glitches, game freezes and other emulation problems
• DOES NOT run MS-DOS

Installation

To install Legacy to your GP2X, extract this folder and copy the contents to the SD card on your GP2X such that the SD card contains a folder called 'Legacy'.

To play any of the supported games (see below), download and uncompress the appropriate floppy disk image from within the 'Windmill Software' section of Retrograde Station, copy it into the 'Legacy' directory and run the associated gpe file from within the interface on your GP2X.
